Why am I doing this?
Simple answer ... because encouragement is a game changer and I want everyone to have the opportunity to receive it.
Every successful songwriter can point to a time when they attended a class or met with a mentor and they got an encouraging word that changed their life.
I have a moment like that too ... at 11 years old when my voice teacher encouraged me. 10 years later, I was holding down the Chaka Kahn part on "Higher Love" as Steve Winwood's background singer.
There's NO WAY that happens without the encouragement.
