You're writing good songs. Songs that come from a real place inside you.

But you second guess what you're writing because you don't know ... Is it enough? Is it too personal? Does anyone actually want this?

So most of you listen to the radio or look at what's working on streaming and study what's already out there. You start trying to write towards the market instead of towards your heart... aka your own experiences.

So it all makes sense that while the songs are good, the magic doesn't seem to be there.

Here's what 25+ years on Music Row has taught me: The songwriters who break through aren't the ones who write like everyone else. They're the ones who finally give themselves permission to write like themselves, and write what moves them.

That's exactly what this workshop series is about.

No one makes it alone. We all need community and in that tight knit group to be seen, heard and encouraged along the way.

In publishing, songwriter management, and co-heading ASCAP Nashville, I've had the privilege of working with 75+ songwriters who went on to sign publishing deals and many led to #1 songs!

I've worked closely with developing songwriters through a program I co-founded called the ASCAP GPS Project specifically designed to help songwriters navigate this industry and get an opportunity to personally connect with publishers on the Row in the spirit of developing their talent. I'm proud to say that program is still going strong today!

A couple times a year, I bring you the "Launch Workshops" ... and make them as meaningful/valuable as possible and I wanna have workshops accessible for everyone by offering them at a very low price.
